About the album

Red Hot Chili Peppers at a concert at the Skoshabank Arena , Toronto in 2006.

According to the vocalist of the group Anthony Kiedis , it was originally planned to release a trilogy of albums with intervals of 6 months, but in the end all the material was compressed into a double album [3] . Kiedis noted that “chemistry in the team, when it came to writing, was better than ever. There has always been a struggle for the right to dominate in composing texts, but now we have a good idea of who we are and feel more comfortable creating more valuable, high-quality material ” [4] .

Stadium Arcadium was praised by critics for mixing genres in which the group worked its entire career [5] [6] .
