Ground structures
The station pavilion was designed by architects A.S. Getskin and V.P. Shuvalova and is located on Moskovsky Prospekt , at the beginning of Reshetnikova Street .
The pavilion was built according to a standard design (similar to the pavilions of the Victory Park , Frunzenskaya , Gorkovskaya stations) and is a circular building in plan, with a dome and glazed entrances, resembling a kiosk.
Underground Structures
Electrosila is a pylon-type deep laying station with a shortened central nave (hall) (depth ≈ 35 m). The station completes a series of seven pylon stations on the second line, running in a row. The underground hall was designed by architects G. M. Vlanin , S. I. Evdokimov and N. V. Ustinovich.
The theme of the station's decoration is devoted to the development of energy in the Soviet Union (State Electrification Plan of Russia - GOELRO ). Before placing the office space, the end part of the central hall was decorated with a ceramic panel “Electrification of the USSR” (artist G. A. Shillo). In the south-west of the schematic mosaic depiction of the USSR, the words belonged to V. I. Lenin :
Communism is Soviet power plus electrification of the whole country
" Lenin "
Lamps in the form of compact blocks geometrized in shape are placed in the openings.
An inclined course (exit from the station), containing three escalators , is located at the southern end of the central nave (hall).
In 2009 - 2011 , the station carried out major repairs of the lining of the track walls and the walls of the apron halls, and the coating of the platforms [2] .
