Via dei Condotti (also Via Condotti ; Italian. Via dei Condotti ) is one of the oldest and most famous streets in Rome . Located in the historic center of the city and connects Via del Corso and the Plaza of Spain . The nearest metro station is Spanya on line A.

At the time of ancient Rome, this street crossed the Flaminian road and connected the bridge over the Tiber with the Pincho hill. The name comes from the aqueducts ( Italian condotti Aqua Vergine Aqueduct ( Acqua Vergine )), which were held from a reservoir on Pincho Hill in the 16th century by order of Pope Gregory XIII to service the Field of Mars .
Nowadays, prestigious clothing, leather and jewelry stores are located on Via dei Condotti. In 1905, the Bulgari studio was opened here. Later boutiques of Valentino , Armani , Hermès , Cartier , Louis Vuitton , Fendi , Gucci , Prada , Chanel , Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Ferragamo were opened. On this street is also located the office of fashion designer Laura Biaghotti and Antico Caffe Greco , which appeared as early as 1760. Cafe at one time visited Stendal , Goethe , Byron , Liszt , Keats . At Via dei Condotti, 11 lived Guglielmo Marconi .
House 68 in Via Condotti belongs to the Order of Malta - is the official residence of the Grand Master of the Order of Malta ( Main Palace ).
