Kira Aleksandrovna Proshutinsky (born September 15, 1945 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian TV presenter, producer . Biography

Education

She studied at school No. 496 in Moscow, studied music, choreography, and figure skating [1] . In 1968 she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University [2] with a degree in literary work in radio and television.

Career

Soviet period

In 1967, she was accepted into the staff of the Youth Edition of the Central Television of the USSR State Television and Radio Broadcasting as a correspondent .

From 1967 to 1981 - editor, senior editor, commentator , deputy chief editor of the Youth Edition of the Central Television of the USSR State Television and Radio Broadcasting. She led the author’s program “ Come on, girls!” ". She was the author and director of the program “With all my heart”.

Later (in the 1980s) she produced a number of popular programs and is considered the author of the 12th floor youth information program.

In 1987, she was the author of the program “Vzglyad” (the concept and the first four issues in October; Alexander Kondrashov in his review of Evgeny Dodolev’s book “Vzglyad - the Beatles of Perestroika” noted: “many unknown or forgotten facts returned to circulation: the program’s parents were Anatoly Lysenko and Eduard Sagalaev , everyone knew, but the fact that the first issues “gave birth” to Kira Proshutinskaya and Anatoly Malkin was not ” [3] ).

In September 1988, together with Anatoly Malkin, she created the ATV [4] .

Post-Soviet period

  • From 1989 to 1994, she was the host of the Press Club author’s program (in the book “The Red Dozen. The Collapse of the USSR: They Were Against”), it is stated that the first public use of the word “journalist” was recorded on the Press Club program (in 1991 ) during the polemic between Alexander Gradsky and Kira Proshutinskaya [5] [6] ).

  • From 1994 to 1996 - the leading author of the program "Man and Woman" (ATV).
  • Since 1995 - artistic director of the television company "New Studio".
  • Since 1996 - the head of the journalistic program " Old Apartment " (ATV).
  • From February 1998 to 2003, she was the host of the Press Club program.
  • From 2005 to 2012 - the host of the program “People Want to Know” on the TV Center TV channel .
  • Since September 9, 2011 - author and host of the program “Wife. Love Story ”on the TV Center TV channel.

Rewards

Laureate of the USSR Union of Journalists [7] prize, “Best Journalist-1993” prize of the Moscow Union of Journalists, “Person-1993” (prize of the Russian Biographical Institute). Winner of the Silver Gong Prize for his contribution to domestic television journalism ( 1994 ) [8] . In 2011 she was awarded the Order of Friendship [9] .

In 1996, she was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences .

Family

Thrice married. With her third husband, Anatoly Malkin - president and general producer of ATV - until December 2012. [10] .
