Doctor of Business Administration , ДДА ( eng. Doctor of Business Administration ) (also tracing paper from English Doctor of Business Administration , ДБА ) is a program of economic postgraduate education (lasting from 1 year to 5 years), which involves obtaining additional knowledge in applied economic disciplines. The qualification of the DDA gives the right to occupy senior management positions. Training is usually carried out in the following specialties: " Management ", "Technology Management", "Organizational Behavior", " Finance ".

DDA position in Russia
Currently, this qualification is not officially recognized in Russia , however, a number of large companies take it into account when hiring. In addition, the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia is considering the question of the official establishment of such a degree (the working title is “Doctor of Business and Administration”) for unloading dissertation councils from the protection of statesmen, politicians and top managers who want to raise their social status [1] .
The DBA programs in Russia are designed for specialists with a candidate’s degree, a master’s qualification, or an MDA diploma and presuppose the defense of a dissertation .
