Description
The program is a database for storing passwords. It stores many passwords in an encrypted file, access to which is provided after entering the master password. Allows users to remember only one password to access the database with passwords, instead of multiple username / password combinations.
Benefits
Simplicity: Password Safe is designed to perform one function, and performs it well. After starting the program and entering the main password, any stored password is available for copying to the clipboard with a double click.
Security: The original version was designed and written by Bruce Schneier , an expert in cryptography.
Open source: project source code is available for research.
