The cave is located at an altitude of 870 meters above sea level in the Demänovská valley on the northern side of the Low Tatras . Demenovskaya cave was discovered in 1921. Open to tourists since 1924. Currently, the route for visitors is 1800 m in length. The total length of the cave is 8126 m.
