Born on April 2, 1974 in Yartsevo, Smolensk region . Father is a radio physicist . Mother is a pianist.

Constant moving from place to place, associated with the work of his father, taught Alexander to a wide perception of the world. Passion for travel was passed on to Sasha from his father - at the first opportunity, Alexander goes to Paris to the home of the Post-Impressionists , where he attends directing courses as a free listener. Numerous trips to Europe (France, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland) enrich Sashneva’s work with fresh concepts. Her first, still amateur video for the song “Alain Delon” (“ Nautilus Pompilius ”) immediately goes on the air of Channel One. Several solo exhibitions and participation in group exhibitions in Tyumen, Moscow, and St. Petersburg do not satisfy A. Sashnev, although her works are in the best private collections in Europe and in museums in Russia.

Sashneva is engaged in vocals with Tamara Miansarova in GITIS . These are private lessons, but the legendary singer expects the student to take off quickly. However, not all so simple. Recording songs is expensive. "1000 Years of Love", "Mama", "Yes-yes-wait", "My soul wandered across the field", "Flute and the Wind", "Strip of Light" - the best songs that were released in the music collections released by the label " Union "and producer Sergey Kharin. Having met Dmitry Yankovsky , he finally releases his first album, “There will be no anesthesia” (2002) Prologue Music) under the pseudonym Felichita. She is compared now with Aguzarova , then with Zemfira . The album successfully diverges, accompanying the release of the book “There Will Be No Anesthesia,” which immediately becomes a cult and receives the Bronze Roscon 2002 prize at the Convention of Russian Science Fiction. Alexander Voitinsky helps Sasha make a video for the song “1000 Years of Love” and the video even gets several hits on MTV.

In 2005, together with producer Dmitry Yankovsky, Alexandra went to St. Petersburg to start filming the full-length feature film “There Will Be No Anesthesia” from her book and D. Yankovsky’s book “The Flute and the Wind” (“The Lord of Probability”). In 2007, the film receives a rental certificate and goes on DVD. The film has a small rental and participates in several film festivals, including " Kinoshok- 2007" and receives a prize at the Alexander Bashirov film festival "Deboshirfest" - "Clean Dreams-2007". Sashneva’s second book, Secret Signs, has not gained such popularity as There Will Be No Anesthesia.

In 2012, A. Sashneva began producing the project “international meeting of poets“ CROSSROADS ”” (Palmanah.com), which included poems from poets from different countries, including verses by A. Polonsky, E. Myakishev, G. Katsov, V. Kovalji, S. Krylova, E. Stepanova, O. Fedorova, D. Grigoryeva, E. Tsventukh, V. Nikolaeva, N. Baydatskaya, A. Dymkovets, T. Osintseva, E. Chebykina, S. Yuzefpolskaya-Tsilosani, A. Gutchina, B. Borovoy and others, including herself. The concept of the project “Book is a fact of art”. To support the project, poetry performances are being held at clubs in Moscow using films, music and theater reprisals. The famous musician (theremin) and composer Olesya Rostovskaya collaborates with the project.

In 2014, Bookmaster Publishing House (Belarus) released A. Sashneva ’s new novel, Tango with the Wind. From the very first sales, the novel began to receive rave reviews. This is one of the best works of Alexandra (Sasha) Sashneva.

2016 - a short film "Raskolnikov. Gummy clouds." Producer, director, screenwriter, composer, actress. Starring: Alexander Gorodisky, Inna Kolyada, Julia Aug , Andrey Kanivchenko, Sergey Godin, Konstantin Gayekho. Movie trailer Nash Albert’s song “Sunrise” sounds in the film. The premiere took place on October 27 at the House of Journalist (Moscow). The film became the laureate of the Indian LakeView International Film Festival , the finalist of the Feel The Reel International Film Festival, participated in the Russian film festivals UralkinoFest , Golden Phoenix, GOLD FENIX, Season of Love
