Lefortovskaya naberezhnaya is located on the right bank of the Yauza River in the Basmanny district between Radio Street and Rubtsovskaya Embankment . The main part of the embankment is included in the Third Ring Road . Here is the main building complex of MSTU named after N.E. Bauman , including the main building .

Name Origin
The name of the embankment (as well as Lefortovo Square and Lefortovsky Lane ) appeared in the late XIX - early XX centuries. Retains the name of the historical district of Lefortovo .
Description
Lefortovo embankment is located on the right bank of the Yauza River. Upstream the river, it goes to Rubtsovskaya embankment , and down to the embankment of Academician Tupolev . On the opposite bank of the Yauza are Golovinskaya embankment . House numbering comes from the Hospital Bridge.
The Lefortovo embankment begins from Hospital Lane and the Hospital Bridge , passes southwest, then the inner ring of the Third Transport System , which runs along the river parallel to the embankment and actually separates the embankment from Yauza, leaves the Lefortovo tunnel . Here rises the main building of MSTU. N.E. Bauman . Behind the Lefortovsky bridge, the embankment passes into the embankment of Academician Tupolev.
