Residence on the Istra Reservoir - a manor built in the 2000s in the Moscow region in the village of Berezhki on the shore of the Istra reservoir . Some media outlets gave it the name " Millergof " by analogy with the word Peterhof , after the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller , whom they considered to be the owner of the estate. Photos from the construction of the mansion, made from a private jet in June 2009 and published on the Internet , caused widespread discussion in the media and blogs . [one]

Complex structure
Construction took place on the territory of more than 30 hectares. The whole place is a gigantic complex, in architectural and landscape terms similar to the Grand Peterhof Palace and the adjacent canal with cascades of fountains. In addition, the territory has a building similar to the St. Petersburg Admiralty . [1] A cottage settlement "Istra Manor" was built on a neighboring plot.
Some experts estimate the value of the land for the estate at almost $ 16 million, and the cost of development at $ 27 million ($ 3 thousand per square meter) [2] .
Manor Owner
Some media have put forward several versions of who may be the owner of the estate. According to one of them, which arose on the basis of stories of local residents, the estate belongs to Gazprom and, more specifically, to Alexey Miller. [3] According to another version, the object was built for billionaire Manasir [4] , co-owner of Stroygazconsulting LLC, who was the customer of this construction. [3] However, representatives of Gazprom stated that their company had nothing to do with the construction [5] , and representatives of Stroygazconsulting reported that they were building the estate “for themselves” [3] .

- Julia Latynina . Roads and Residences (" Daily Journal "):
| We all have the opportunity to admire (on the Internet) at Millergof - the residence, apparently, of the head of Gazprom, which is a full-size copy of the Konstantinovsky Palace . It is easy to see that not a single businessman from the consumer society - neither Bill Gates nor Warren Buffet - did not build a residence in the form of a copy of the imperial palace. Just because the imperial palace is an administrative building, which characterizes a certain epoch and a certain style of the state, and in a consumer society its maintenance will cost millions of dollars a month. A private person can live in such a palace only in two cases: either if the company pays for its maintenance, or if slaves work for it free of charge. |
