The International Union of Economists (ITU) is an international independent non-governmental non-governmental organization. It was founded in 1991 in the city of Sandanski ( Bulgaria ).
The International Union of Economists has the General Consultative Status of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI NGO UN).

- search and implementation of new forms of international cooperation;
- ensuring a wide international exchange of information in various fields of economics, science, technology and other areas of activity;
