Ilyinsky is a village in the Yaroletsky rural settlement of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region of Russia . It is located on both banks of the Frolovka River (the left tributary of the Lama River), 13 km west of Volokolamsk , which is connected by bus [2] (Volokolamsk - the village of Lviv ).

History
In the old days, the village was owned by Fyodor Tarhov, then his children - Ivan and Vasily, then - Ivan Fedorovich Basmanov (d. In 1604). After his death, the village remained behind his widow Arina (d. In 1626).
It is known that in 1626 in the village there was a wooden church of Elijah the Prophet [12] , in which, due to the lack of a priest, services were not performed.
In 1646, the village of Ilyinsky - the estate of Vasily Ivanovich Streshnev. In 1648, the village was sold to Prince Mikhail Nikolaevich Shakhovsky. In 1678, the widow Afimya with the children Alexander and Fedor owned the village, the latter got the village. In 1710, the village was owned by his son - Prince Fedor Fedorovich Shakhovsky. Then the village was bought by General Grigory Petrovich Chernyshev. In 1730, by order of the owner of the village, Count Chernyshev, a new wooden church was built. In 1733, it was consecrated by Archimandrite Joachim of the Joseph-Volotsky Monastery .
In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Ilyinskoye is the owner's village of the 1st camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the left side of the Moscow highway, from the border of the Zubtsov district to the city of Volokolamsk , 13 versts from the county town, at the Kolpianka river, with 52 yards , the Orthodox church and 408 inhabitants (192 men, 216 women) [4] .
According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Yaropolsky volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 181 people [13] .
In 1913 - 88 yards, the Zemstvo school , a tea shop [14] .
The materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census indicate the village of Ilyinskoye Novoye (181 inhabitants, 36 households, a school, village council), the villages of the Ilyinsky village council - Ilyinskaya Sloboda (142 residents, 27 households) and Ilyinskoye (169 residents, 34 households) [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
The village was badly damaged during the war during the Great Patriotic War . Before the municipal reform of 2006, it was the center of the Ilyino-Yaropoletsky Village Council [15] [16] .
Attractions
In 1783, the owner of the village, Count Zakhar Grigoryevich Chernyshev, built the current brick Ilyinsky church with white stone details in the Classicist style with thrones in the name of the Akhtyrsky Icon of Our Lady (southern) and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (northern). Probably, initially the main throne was dedicated to the icon, and later, after 1866, according to which the reference book of I.A. However, there is no information about re-lighting.
In 1816, a new altar was added to the temple. In 1859, a refectory and a three-tier bell tower were built, and the stone coating of the temple was replaced by a hemispherical wooden one. Field Marshal Zakhar Grigoryevich Chernyshev was buried in this church, since the church-tomb in Yaropolts was not yet completed. The remains were reburied at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 1930s, the church was closed and used as a state farm warehouse of pesticides. The burial places on the south side of the temple were torn down by a bulldozer and, together with fences, crosses, monuments and land, were moved south to build a road to the village of Lvovo. For a long time the temple building was orphaned.
In 2000, an Orthodox parish was registered at the church and work began on the restoration of its dilapidated building. The first abbot after the revival of the temple is Archpriest Nikolai Leonidovich Yakovlev. Warden - Vasily Evgenievich Godunov (since 14.11.2010 - a priest). From 26.3.2011 to 2013, the rector of the church is Archpriest Andrei Lvovich Tabachenkov. From 2013 to 2015 - Priest Mikhail Sergeyevich Zavitaev.
From 09.02.2015, the priest is the priest Euthymius Veniaminovich Knyazhev. [17]
At present, services and requirements are regularly performed in the church, restoration work on the interior, as well as improvement of the temple territory is underway. The temple of Elijah the prophet is open daily to believers. [eighteen]
