Career

Club

He started playing football at the Globus club, the first coach was Georgy Maysuradze [1] . When Shashiashvili was 16 years old, he got into the double of Dynamo Tbilisi , where David Kipiani worked. Altogether, he played 7 seasons for Dynamo, of which four years in a row George was the captain of Dynamo. He played 163 matches for Dynamo and scored 4 goals. He also played for Kodako and TSU . After he got into the Russian “ Alania ”. He couldn’t get into the main team and went on loan to Dynamo Tbilisi.

In May 2006 he moved to Odessa " Chernomorets " as a free agent [2] . He made his debut in the Ukrainian championship on July 21, 2006 in a match against Dynamo Kyiv (4: 1). He spent the second half of the 2006/07 season in Tbilisi Dynamo [3] . In the summer of 2007 he moved to the Austrian " Sturm " from the city of Graz , signing a two-year contract [4] . The team has become a major player. In the club he played with another Georgian Ilya Kandelaki , with him he could be in the German “ Bremen ” [5] .

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the Greek Ergotelis , signing a two-year contract. In the championship of Greece he made his debut on August 22, 2009 in the match against Panathinaikos (0: 3) [6] .
