The flag of the Alekseevsky municipal district of the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation is the official symbol of the municipality, reflecting the historical, geographical and economic features of the region.

The flag was approved on February 1, 2001 by resolution of the Alekseyevsky District Duma No. 1/6 [1] as the flag of the Alekseyevsky District Municipal Formation (after the municipal reform , the Alekseyevsky District).
Description
βThe flag of the region is a rectangular cloth of blue in the proportions 2: 3, divided horizontally by a blue stripe, one-twentieth the width of the flag, framed by a yellow border. At a third of the length of the Flag from the flagpole, the strip with a border bifurcates, diverging to the corners of the flag located at the flagpole. The triangle formed by the diverging ends of the dividing strip is red. β
Justification of Symbols
The blue fork-shaped cross symbolizes the Khoper River flowing through the territory of the Khoper River and the Buzuluk flowing into it. The blue color of the fields of the coat of arms and the flag is the traditional color of the Don Cossacks, whose representatives make up the bulk of the population of the region and with which its glorious centuries-old history is associated. The combination of blue, yellow and red colors is the color scheme of the Don Cossack flag.
In addition, blue is a symbol of wisdom, harmony and spiritual perfection, yellow symbolizes prosperity, and red is a symbol of pride, freedom and fortitude of the inhabitants of the region for centuries, their courage and courage shown in wars and battles.
