"Saint Anna" is an annual festival of student and debut films. It has been taking place in Moscow since 1994 .
Content
History
The festival was organized in 1993 by the company ABC.
The founder and president of the festival until 2008 is Boris Hayrapetyan , director and producer. The symbol of the festival is the image of St. Anne from Leonardo Da Vinci 's painting “The Virgin and Child with St. Anne”, expressing concern and attention to the work of young people, whose debut works will eventually reveal and confirm the revealed talent.
The first festival opened on March 19, 1994 as a student film competition. Later, according to tradition, March 19 became the official annual closing date of the festival.
From 2000 to 2004, the film company Interfest was involved in organizing the festival. The director of the festival was producer Renat Davletyarov .
Since 2009, the President of the festival was actor Mikhail Porechenkov .
Since 2009, the festival has been held by Centerfest . General Director - Elena Tsukanova .
Saint Anna 2010
In the framework of the festival "St. Anna - 2010", master classes were held by Nikita Mikhalkov, playwright Yuri Arabov , producer Igor Tolstunov , actor Sergei Garmash , director Vladimir Grammatikov [1] . Alexander Mitta organized a workshop “Idea. How to work with her in the script and film ” [1] .
