Sports Biography
At the age of 14, Nikolai Solodukhin started sambo training, and a year later he became a champion among juniors in the city of Zheleznogorsk, Kursk Region .
After graduating from college, Nikolai became interested in judo. His first coach was M. G. Skrypov . [3] The first tournament won by Nikolai Solodukhin was the “Young Dynamo player”. [four]
In 1975 , Solodukhin became the judo champion of the Games of the peoples of the USSR. And in 1979 , for one year, Nikolai Solodukhin won the title of world and European champion in judo, and in 1980 he became the champion of the Olympic Games in Moscow in judo in the weight category up to 65 kg.
