Content

Description

The body is short, less than three times as long as its width. The antennae along the length reach the middle of the elytra. Pronotum already elytra with distinct lateral tubercles, its posterior angles rounded. The tops of the hind femur are expanded [1] [2] .

Lifestyle

Adults are found on flowers . Larvae feed on the roots of herbaceous plants [1] .

The closest is the genus Pachyta [1] . Danilevsky divided the genus into three subgenus Fasciobrachyta , Variobracliyta and Brachyta [3] .
