Eleanor Alice Hibbert ( Eng. Eleanor Alice Burford Hibbert ; 1906 , London - January 18, 1993 ) is an English writer, master of the historical adventure and Gothic novel, a follower of the traditions of Anna Radcliffe , Mary Shelley , the sisters Bronte and Margaret Mitchell .
