History
The initiator of the construction of a stone church on the territory of the construction college was its director - Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation Alexei Shershnev . [1] The foundation was laid in 2008 . [1] Construction began in 2009 . [one]
On November 21, 2009, the Dean of the Sergach District, Archpriest Victor Sofronov and the rector of the church in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos Priest Sergiy Kosykin performed the consecration of the crosses. [1] After which the crosses were installed on the dome. [1] More than 50 people attended the church service. [one]
