Description
“The flag of the Belgorod region of the Belgorod region is a rectangular cloth with an aspect ratio of 2: 3, crosswise divided into four alternating black and green parts: black and green at the flagpole, occupying 1/6 of the cloth each, and green and black at the free edge, occupying each 2/6 panels each. Above the vertical line of division are the figures of the coat of arms of the Belgorod region: a yellow lion and a white eagle above it. A similar mirror image is placed on the reverse side of the panel. ”
The flag of the Belgorod Infantry Regiment of 1712 was adopted as the basis of the modern flag [2] .
