Biography
In 1995 she graduated from Moscow school No. 1113 with an in-depth study of music and choreography . While studying at school, the singer danced in the children's ballet Ostankino [1] . Anna received her musical education at the State Aviation Theater named after Maimonides ”, specializing in pop-jazz singing (class of associate professor M. L. Korobkova), later Anna became a teacher at the“ Maimonides State Classical Academy ” [2] . She joined the Lyceum group in 1997 after the dismissal of Lena Perova [1] .
She was a permanent member of the team for 8 years and gradually came to the conclusion that she was ripe for a solo career. After leaving the Lyceum group, Anna Pletneva created the musical project “Coffee with Rain” [1] , in which she acted as a singer and producer [3] . A video was shot for the debut song “Nine and a Half Weeks”, the music of which was written by Alexey Romanof and Yuri Usachev , and the words Alexey Romanof and Ekaterina Rakova. A year later, the project was closed [1] .
In 2006, together with a former member of the Amega group, Alexei Romanof, she created Vintage . In 2009, she entered the top five sexiest girls in the country according to the magazine MAXIM [4] [5] .
In December 2011, Afisha magazine included the song Eva in the list of the most vivid and memorable Russian pop hits over the past 20 years [6] . Anna has repeatedly been among the “100 Sexiest Girls on the Planet” according to the Russian edition of the FHM magazine, where she occupied 2 (2012, 2014) [7] [8] and 3 places (2015) [9] .
On August 21, 2016, the singer presented her first solo single “Strong Girl”, thereby announcing her formal departure from the group (together with Alexei):
I am not going to make high-profile statements about the beginning of a solo career. Not at all. The reason is different. For 10 years, "Vintage" remained the most popular youth group performing fashionable dance music. The club performance format requires a repertoire of only number one hits. I do not want to limit myself to this framework. Our albums have always had many wonderful lyric songs that remained outside the radio. We came to the line beyond which we no longer need extra tinsel and paraphernalia. Behind the walls of nightclubs and trendy restaurants, where most of the concerts of Vintage take place, there are still a lot of spectators who do not come to these establishments due to age and many other reasons. I want us to have the opportunity to meet in concert halls, see each of them and perform those songs that will tell more about me than all the famous super hits [10]
- Anna Pletneva
The song “Strong Girl” was written by Alexei Romanof a year ago as a gift for Anna on her last birthday.
On November 20, filming of the video for Anna Pletneva’s second solo single “Girlfriend”, recorded with the participation of actress Marina Fedunkiv, took place [11] , and on November 21 the composition was presented to the public. This song became the soundtrack for the new comedy mini-series of the same name - "Girlfriend". In the story, Anna and Marina play themselves, they both remain without work and accidentally meet in a roadside cafe, where they make friendship, and then receive a job offer. On January 25, 2017, a video clip for the song was published.
On May 26, the premiere of the new single, “Which side are you on?”, Authored by Anton Koch, took place. On May 27, a video clip for this song was shot in Kiev, the director was a longtime acquaintance Sergei Tkachenko.
On August 21, the fourth solo single “Toys” was released on his birthday, as well as the provocative, uncensored and banned from showing on television, video clip on it.
On December 4, the singer entered the New Year’s single and the Lalaland video sequence.
On February 1, 2018, the premiere of the sixth single, "White", was authored by Alexey Romanof. The song topped iTunes Russia and became the first single of the singer who succeeded. From that moment, Anna began to go on stage under the name "Anna Pletneva" Vintage "."
It is impossible to separate the name of Anna Pletneva and “Vintage”. They have grown together, become one. Vintage is not just music, it is a religion for millions of fans, according to the norms of which they live, feel, act and think. Creating your religion is not easy, being its symbol is the power of units. To be above criticism and fame, beyond the replicated methods of popularity and success, to remain a pure white canvas on which you write your story and only you yourself create.
- Press release of the video "White"
Later it became known that after a year-long break, Anna and Alexei resumed cooperation. February 14, the video for the song "White" was released.
On June 1, the presentation of the new single “Sunday Angel”, written by Alexei Romanof, took place.
I decided that I myself would be the director of the video together with Sergey Tkachenko, and we flew off to shoot in Paris ... It seems to me that the day we spent with Varya in Paris gave us more than all my educational measures in a few months. On the plane, one girl flew from Moscow, and a completely different one returned. Finally she heard me, and I her ...
On July 19, Anna Pletneva returned to Vintage, at the request of fans of the group. On August 21, the singer presented two premieres at once: a video clip for the song “Sunday Angel” and the debut solo album “Strong Girl”, and on October 15, 2018, the eighth single “The Big Heart” and Lyric Video were released for him.14 On February February 2019, the single “In the world of animals” was released, previously Anna Pletneva had already presented a song on Novy Radio on February 12, on February 23, a video was released on the channel “Anna Pletneva” where animals and their owners were presented. Note: From January 1, 2011, the TopHit General Chart has been divided into the Russian Top 100 and Ukrainian Top 100. Until 2011, the songs did not make it to the “Russian Top 100”, since it had not yet been formed. The highest position for the song "Roman" is shown only for 2011.
Note2: Many songs of the group were released at the end of the year and therefore did not receive high positions in the annual chart. For example, if all the rotations of the song “Roman” were in 2010, then the song would be in the top ten of the annual chart [32] .
Note3: The 2M company’s chart is compiled every two weeks on the basis of sales of full versions of songs in online stores, through mobile services, as well as on the basis of streaming (free listening) of songs in Russia.
Note4: The “Sales Chart” of the “Red Star” portal is compiled monthly only for Russian-language songs. It is based on information received from the Russian edition of Billboard magazine and includes both digital sales and sales of tracks in albums.
