Olisthaerinae (lat.) Is one of the subfamilies of staphilinid beetles . In the fossil state, the family is known from the Early / Middle Jurassic of Siberia and from the Middle Jurassic of China, and in morphological terms, the Jurassic species practically do not differ from modern ones [1] .

Distribution
North America (Canada and the USA) [2] .
Description
The upper body is naked, smooth, shiny. The eyes are located far from the posterior margin of the head. Lateral margins of pronotum with notch in front of rectangular posterior angles. Elytra with sharp lateral border and shallow longitudinal grooves. All tarsi are 5-segmented (formula 5-5-5). Fore and middle tibia with spines [3] .
