The company was founded by Jacob Kon in 1849. In 1878, it was created under the name Jacob and Joseph KOH. At the Paris exhibition, the first place was given to a salon chair for the construction of legs. Later in Kiev at the beginning of the 20th century, this chair was thrown from the second floor for advertising purposes, competing with similar products of competitors and won.
