Presumably in 1250 BC e. in the valley of the Tollensee River, a battle took place between unknown groups of people with a total number of up to 4000 people [1] [2] . German archaeologists Detlef Jantzen and Thomas Terberger, with the support of the German Research Society, who have been conducting archaeological excavations in the area since 2008, have found many remains of people and weapons used in the battle at the bottom of the swamp [3] . Scientists intend to analyze the DNA of those killed in the Battle of Tollenza [4] [5] . In 2013, geomagnetic studies revealed that five centuries before the battle, a 120-meter bridge or dam was built from tree trunks and stones through the Tollensee valley [6] .
