Glen Drover is a Canadian guitar player from Ottawa . Currently lives in Toronto . Drover is well known as the former lead guitarist of Megadeth and King Diamond , as well as one of the founders and guitarist of Eidolon , from 1993 to 2007.

Career
As a child, he began to play the guitar. Under the influence of Tony McAlpin , Al Di Meola , Randy Roads , Greg Howe , Michael Romeo , George Lynch , Warren DeMartini and David Gilmore, the brothers created the 1996 thrash / power metal band Eidolon .
King Diamond (1998-2000)
In 1998, Glen joined the King Diamond group and participated in the recording of the studio album House of God .
Megadeth (2004-2008)
In 2004, the musician joined the thrash metal band Megadeth with his brother Sean Drover . He participates in the recording of the United Abominations album, in which he shares all the solo parts with Mustaine and co-authored with him composed one song.
Despite being busy recording songs for Megadeth, Drover recorded a solo for the song "Emotional Coma" by Swedish metal band Lion's Share . He recorded it at his home in Canada and sent a music file to Sweden [1] .
In January 2008, Drover left Megadeth to devote more time to his family, as well as due to personal disagreements with the band. His last concert as a member of the band was in Brisbane , Australia on November 18, 2007 .
Testament
On October 22, 2008, Testament members announced that Drover will replace their guitarist Alex Skolnik , who was employed at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, during the Mexico tour. [2] Glen also replaced Skolnik at a 2016 Chicago concert. [3]
