Biography
- Since 1933 - After the death of his parents, he was brought up in an orphanage in the city of Alexandrov.
- 1940 - Directed to the vocational school number 5 in the city of Kolchugino.
- From 1941 to the summer of 1944 he worked as a metalworker at the defense plant No. 2 named after Degtyarev in the city of Kovrov.
- 1944, autumn - As part of the troops of the 2nd Belorussian Front, marched from Warsaw to Gdansk.
- 1945, March - He was seriously wounded during the assault on Gdansk . After treatment in the hospital, he continued to serve in the airborne regiment in the cities of Bydgoszcz, Poznan, Shroda, Polotsk, Vitebsk.
- 1951 - Demobilized as a senior sergeant.
- 1951 - Graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, art faculty.
- In 1951-1956 he studied at the Department of Theory and History of Art of the History Department of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov.
- Since 1956 he worked as an artist-restorer of painting at the State Central Art Museum.
- In 1964-1979 - Director of the All-Union Central Research Laboratory for the Preservation and Restoration of Museum Values [1]
- In 1979-1992 - Director of the All-Union Research Institute for Restoration of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR , created on the basis of the All-Union Laboratory.
- In 1999-2000, he held a personal exhibition at the Museum of World War II on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.
Spouse - L.V. Gorina - Slavic historian, professor emeritus of Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov.
Rewards
He was awarded the orders of World War I degree, Friendship of Peoples, the badge " For Merit to the Polish Culture ", as well as medals " For Military Merit ", " For the Capture of Koenigsberg " and many others.
