Mohammed Ben Ahmed Abdelgani ( Arabic: محمد بن أحمد عبد الغني ) is a statesman and politician of Algeria . From 1979 to 1984, he served as prime minister of the country.

Biography
Born on April 18, 1927 in the Algerian city of Gazaouet . In 1965, he supported the coup led by Huari Boumedien against the government of Ahmed bin Bella and joined the Revolutionary Council. From 1974 to 1980, he served as Minister of the Interior of Algeria. From March 8, 1979 to January 22, 1984 he was the Prime Minister of Algeria from the Party of National Liberation Front under President Chadley Benjedid . He died on September 22, 1996 in the city of Algeria.
