Eurystomus Vieillot , 1816

The main range is Africa, Asia and Australia. On the territory of Russia , in Primorye and the South Amur Region, the eastern latitude occurs [1] .

Some species live in moderately warm or subtropical regions of Eurasia and Australia. At broad-latitudes, the colored plumage is colorful, which is slightly brighter in males than in females. Large head and long wings. The long and strong beak is curved down. Latitudes feed on insects and look for their prey from an elevated place, catch on the fly. During the mating season, males demonstrate acrobatic stunts in the air, accompanied by loud noises.
