Laid down as HMS Sverige ( Russian Sweden ), launched as Wenden , renamed Göta Rike on March 4, 1685 , and the ship was renamed Prince Carl on October 21, 1694 .
During his service, from 1685 to 1722 , the “Prince Karl” was part of the Swedish fleet, during the Great Northern War he took part in several naval campaigns: he participated in the Battle of Gangut and the Battle of Rügen.
