Geography
Lolland has a mostly flat landscape composed of limestones and clays . In the center and in the northwest, low hills dominate up to 25 meters high, which in some places are covered with beech and oak forests. A significant part of the island is covered with fields for sugar beets and crops, as well as a network of drainage and drainage facilities. Connected to the neighboring island of Falster by two bridges [4] . It is planned to build the Femarnbelt tunnel to the German island of Femarn [5] .
