VGTD-2

VGTD-2 is a single-shaft auxiliary gas turbine engine with an additional compressor . Developed at the Kaluzhsky OKBM in 1989. Designed to launch the D-436 and D-27 cruise engines, which are designed for installation on Tu-334 , Be-200 and other aircraft. On board the aircraft, the VSU also provides power for the air-conditioning system and supply into the onboard AC network.
