Biography

Both grandfathers of Vladimir, Russian and Ukrainian, went through the Great Patriotic War from the first to the last day. One of the great-grandfathers, an Armenian, went missing in 1941 [2] [3] . Ukrainian grandfather, Andrey Stognienko, originally from Bessarabia [4] [5] [6] [7] . The Russian grandfather, Vladimir Timofeevich Dementiev , hails from the village of Sudbishchi, Novoderevenkovsky District, Orel Region [8] [9] . He served to the rank of colonel-general. In 2015, a memorial plaque in honor of V.T. Dementyev was opened in Sudbische. Vladimir Stognienko attended the opening [10] . Vladimir Stognienko was born on August 20, 1980 into a family of teachers (mother was a teacher of the Russian language, and father taught physical culture).
