GBOU SPO MKMP is the only secondary specialized educational institution in Moscow specializing exclusively in training personnel for the furniture industry . As part of the training system for the furniture industry enterprises of Moscow and Moscow Region, the college implements practical activities as part of the association of furniture industry enterprises of CJSC Centromebel, thereby ensuring that the interests of enterprises, the region, educational institutions, and the population are respected.

Content

History

  • In 1943, the Moscow Mechanics and Technology College of Network Knitting and Spinning was organized, which in 1953 was transformed into the Sudomechanical College of the Ministry of Fishery of the RSFSR
  • In 1959, the technical school was renamed the Khovrinsky Industrial College of the USSR Ministry of Shipbuilding Industry.
  • In 1963, the Sudomechanical College was renamed the Moscow Mechanical and Technological College of the Woodworking Industry of the USSR. Especially for employees of the Moscow Furniture and Assembly Plant No. 2 (MMSK-2), an evening branch on Polkova Street [1] was organized at the technical school, in which over 300 employees of the factory and other furniture enterprises were trained annually [2] .
  • In 1974, the Moscow Mechanics and Technology College was merged with the All-Union Correspondence Forestry College (abbreviated as VZLT)
  • In 1984, VZLT was transformed into two educational institutions: the Moscow College of Furniture Industry (MTMP), located on Klinskaya Street 8a and the All-Union Correspondence Forestry College (VZLT) in the city of Schelkovo
  • In 1990, the Moscow College of Furniture Industry received college status and became known as GOU SPO Moscow College of Furniture Industry.
  • In 2005, GOU SPO MKMP was transferred to the Department of Education of the city of Moscow
  • Since 2012, the College received the status of a budgetary state educational institution and became known as GBOU SPO Moscow College of Furniture Industry (GBOU SPO MKMP).
  • In 2014, the College was reorganized with the College of Architecture and Construction No. 7, thereby completely completing the ICMP in 2015.

Training

The Moscow College of Furniture Industry offers integrated basic and advanced educational programs (with advanced training), according to which graduates who have received a diploma of advanced professional education of a higher level can receive higher professional education with a reduced term of study.

Students who have successfully mastered the educational programs of the college have the opportunity to continue their studies at Moscow State Forest University , with which the college has been fruitfully cooperating for several decades.

In addition, college graduates continue their studies at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing; State University of Management ; Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics ; Academy of Economics and Management; Academy of Labor and Social Relations ; at the Moscow financial and industrial academy .

  • [1] (unavailable link) June 2012 - A round table was held on the problems of organizing an Interregional educational cluster in furniture production. The meeting was attended by: GBOU SPO Building College №41, GBOU SPO Building College №12, GBOU SPO Industrial and Economic College, ZOO "Centromebel", heads of industry enterprises of Moscow Mirror Plant CJSC, GLOBAL EDGE, leading specialists of GBNU NIIRPO, City Committee of the Union of Forestry, Paper and Woodworking Workers, Central Committee of Trade Unions of Migrant Workers.
