Distribution and Ecology
In nature , the species range covers almost the entire territory of Europe . Naturalized in Asia , Australia and North America [2] .
They grow in sunny places near rocks, sandy soils and wastelands, along the edges of roads.
Biological Description
Shrub up to 3 m tall with thin, green shoots , pubescent in youth.
Leaves are alternate, petiolate , triple. Leaflets are oval or oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, whole, in the upper leaves often one leaflet.
Flowers up to 2 cm, irregular, solitary or sitting in pairs in the axils of the leaves, light yellow; calyx and peduncle pubescent.
The fruit is a narrowly oblong, flattened bean with two or more seeds [3] .
