The Skate Canada International 2009 Tournament is the sixth, final, stage of the Figure Skating Grand Prix of the 2009-2010 season . Held in Kitchener , Ontario , Canada from November 19 to 22, 2009 . The tournament is organized by Skate Canada with the support of the ISU .

- At this tournament, the German sports pair Alena Savchenko and Robin Sholkova set a new world record for a total score of 206.71. The previous record belonged to the Chinese pair Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo , was 206.54 points and was set by them at the Grand Prix finals of the 2004-2005 season [1] .
