Biography

Pupil of Sochi football. As part of the Moscow Spartak , he became the champion of the USSR (1969), the winner of the USSR Cup (1971), the silver medalist of the USSR championship (1968), the bronze medalist of the USSR championship (1970). He played 90 matches for Spartak in the USSR Championship and scored 12 goals [1] . As part of Iskra, the champion of the RSFSR of 1976, the winner of the zonal tournament of the second league (1979).

He studied at the Smolensk Institute of Physical Education; graduated from the Graduate School of Trainers.

After the career of a football player, he worked as a coach in the Iskra team ( Smolensk ) (1981), head coach of Metallurg ( Lipetsk ) (1986 - June 1987; winner of the second league zone tournament 1986), head coach of Baltika ( Kaliningrad ) (1988) ), the head coach of Lighting Engineering ( Saransk ) (1989), the head coach of Iskra (Smolensk) (October 1990-1991).

Killed in a car accident: the bus carrying the Smolensk team collided with a truck near Pskov; Silagadze died on the spot, Iskra goalkeeper Alexander Novikov died of injuries sustained in this accident later [2] .
