"Hysteria" is a single from British rock band Muse from their third album, Absolution . The single reached 17th on the UK chart and 9th on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.

The cover of the single was selected based on the results of the contest, the winner of which was Adam Folkus, and the second-place image became the cover of the DVD. The song was regularly performed during the Absolution tour and later, including concerts at Wembley Stadium on June 16 and 17, 2007 and a tour in support of The Resistance .

Clip
The clip, shot with Justin Theroux , was shot in the form of a short film that tells about the feelings of a man who discovered that the woman he was in love with was a prostitute . The clip is released in several versions. Additional video filmed for the USA ; it shows a group playing in front of a green video screen.
There is a noticeable serious resemblance to fragments of the film “ The Wall ” on the Pink Floyd album of the same name .
Mass Media
TNT used Hysteria to advertise Guerlain Insolence perfume. In addition to advertising, “Hysteria” was used along with “Blackout”, another song from “ Absolution ”, in the movie “ Millions ”. Hysteria was also used as content for the Rock Band game.
