Career

Joe Cada started playing poker online on his 16th birthday (nickname: jcada99). Since Joseph had no legal access to American casinos at such a young age, he was forced to move to Canada, where, in addition to online poker, he actively participated in poker tournaments in the city of Winsor , Ontario . Joe’s first significant achievement was winning online qualifiers for poker festivals in the Bahamas and Costa Rica . According to Internet statistics, from the beginning of 2008 to mid-2009, Joseph won more than $ 500,000 online, however, a month before the start of the 2009 World Series of Poker , Kada falls into a bad streak and is forced to seek financial support to secure his participation in WSOP tournaments . Professional poker financiers (backers) Eric Haber and Cliff Josephie will pay for Joe Cad's participation in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker , claiming to be half of his potential winnings. In addition to registering in the Main Tournament, Joseph also takes part in other tournaments held as part of the 2009 WSOP: in particular, Kada takes 64th place in Event No. 13 ($ 2,500 No Limit Hold'em, 1,088 participants) and 17th place at Event No. 35 ($ 1,500 No Limit Hold'em, 2,095 participants). Joe made his way to the final table (the so-called November nine ) in the main tournament of the 2009 World Series of Poker series ($ 10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold'em, and then, thanks to fantastic luck, several times exhibited all-in strongly behind and winning, managed to get to face-to-face confrontation with another American poker player Darwin Moon . The winning cards for Joe were a pair of nines 9 ♦ 9 ♣ against suited tambourines Q ♦ J ♦ Darwin. The community cards 8 ♣ 2 ♣ 7 ♠ K ♥ 7 ♣ , which opened after both rivals announced an all-in pre-flop, did not change Joe’s initial minor advantage, and brought him the title of the youngest ever World Poker Champion, as well as $ 8,546,435 in prize money.
