The basilus is anemolaceous , or the anemone of the basilica ( lat. Thalíctrum thalictroídes ) is a herbaceous plant; species of the Basilus family of Ranunculales . In English-speaking countries it is known under the name "sad anemone".

Tuberous root .
Stem bare 10―30 cm tall, thin, erect.
Leaves from 10 to 30 cm long, trehdolnye. The leaves are wide-round.
Flowers solitary or in umbellate inflorescences with three to six flowers on separate pedicels. Bracts consist of three leaves of the same shape as the leaves. The flowers are rounded with numerous yellow stamens , calyx from white to pinkish-lavender color.
Fruits are formed in late spring. Fruit - achene seed oval, brown in mature form [2] .
