Story
Juvenile offender Brandon Monroe, nicknamed "Blue," went to prison for killing a stepfather . At the age of 16 he learns that cancer is mortally ill, and he has only a month or two left to live from strength.
After taking his doctor as a hostage, Blue goes on a long journey in search of a legendary lake healing a disease, located on the sacred Mount Sheep Rock. Dr. Reynolds and Blue are completely different: a successful, self-confident doctor and a boy from a dysfunctional area, but each of them has a pain that brings them together. On the way to the lands of the Navajo Indians they are given a chance to change their views.
