Biography
Kim Bazarsadaev was born on April 22, 1937 in the village of Khoyto-Aga [1] (according to other sources - in the village of Aginskoye [2] ) (now in the Aginsky district , the Aginsky Buryatsky district , Zabaikalsky Krai , Russia ).
In 1954 he entered the vocal department of the Ulan-Ude Music School. P. I. Tchaikovsky (now the College of Art. P. I. Tchaikovsky). Studied with L. L. Linhovoin . Since 1957, he sang in the choir. After graduating from college he entered the Leningrad Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov , from which he graduated in 1963 in the class of I. I. Pleshakov.
As a student at the Conservatory, in 1959, he participated in the second decade of Buryat art and literature in Moscow.
From 1963 he worked in the musical groups of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg ) and Moscow , including the Leningrad branch of the All-Russian Touring and Concert Association , in 1964-1966 - the soloist of the Alexander V. Aleksandrov Song and Dance Ensemble (Moscow) .
In 1959-1963 and since 1966 - the soloist of the Buryat Opera and Ballet Theater. G. Ts. Tsydynzhapova . He performed more than thirty operatic roles in classical and Soviet operas, including the works of Buryat composers. In 1994-1998 - director of the theater.
He also performed as a concert singer. His repertoire consisted of three hundred vocal compositions of different eras, styles and authors (songs by S. V. Rakhmaninov , P. I. Tchaikovsky , N. Rimsky-Korsakov , M. I. Glinka , P. P. Bulakhov , works by V. A. Mozart , L. van Beethoven , J. Rossini ). A special place in the singer's repertoire was occupied by the Buryat folk songs and songs by the composers of Buryatia.
He toured the cities of the USSR and abroad: Sweden, England, Norway, Czechoslovakia, Guinea, France, Finland, Mongolia, China, Japan.
He participated in the Days of Literature and Art of the RSFSR in Moldova, Azerbaijan, Moscow, in the Days of Literature and Art of Buryatia in Moscow (1973 and 1983) and Sverdlovsk, in the festival "Leningrad Spring" (1977).
The company " Melody " recorded several disks (records) of musical works performed by the singer.
Since 1988 - Chairman of the Board of the Buryat Branch of the All-Russian Musical Society, member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Musical Society. From 1988 to 2002 - Chairman of the International Contest of Vocalists named after the USSR People's Artist L. L. Linhovoin. Since 1998 - Advisor to the Ministry of Culture of Buryatia.
Member of the CPSU since 1978 .
In 1986, on the Central Television of the USSR , the television film “Light over Baikal” was released, which was dedicated to the work of the singer.
Kim Ivanovich Bazarsadaev died on December 12, 2002 in Ulan-Ude. He was buried at the Central City Cemetery (Village Glass Factory ).
