A distinctive feature of his work is sincere sensuality and tenderness. Jazz at the hands of this pianist turns into the romantic music of two lovers.

Composer Sergio Cammariere explores the love feeling between a man and a woman. Arrangements of his works from album to album are in dynamic development: from the original Italian sound of the author’s song (first album: Dalla pace del mare lontano , 2002 ) to an intercultural, almost ethnic polish ( 2009 album - Carovane ).

It is worth noting the organizational talent of Cammariere as a band leader: he gathered around himself a cohort of professional musicians, performers who harmoniously and subtly feel the romance of the sounds of their instruments. This is the impulsive trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso , and the explosive saxophonist Stefano Di Battista (with whom Sergio had several joint projects and performances). Sergio’s sensual timbre of voice lays down filigree on the harmonious melody of the Italian language and triple the loving mood of the works performed. Knowledge of the canons of jazz and a very charismatic improvisational mastery within the framework of the song genre makes his live performances lyrical messages of love.

Biography

In 1997, takes part in the Tenko Prize Competition. The jury unanimously awards him the IMAIE Award as the best performer.

1998 - the release of the Tempo perduto promodisk ( Russian "Lost Time" ), containing three compositions.

January 2002 - the first album - 2002 - Dalla pace del mare lontano (producer - Biagio Pagano , lyrics - Roberto Kunstler , Pasquale Panella , studio - Via Veneto Jazz ).

The whole of 2002 is marked by concert performances. Sergio won numerous awards, including the L'ISOLA CHE NON C'ERA Music Magazine Award for Best Debut Album, Renato Carozone Award ( CAROSONE ), De Andre Award for Best Artist of the Year, and Tenko Club Club Honorary Award for Best Debut work - the song "Dalla pace del mare lontano".

In 2003 - 2004, Cammariere took part in the first San Remo Festival in his life in the category of "recognized performers" with the song Tutto quello che un uomo ( Russian "Everything That a Man" ), written again together with Roberto Kunstler , and takes third place. He is also awarded the Criticism Prize and the Prize for the best musical composition. [1] Then Sul sentiero ( Rus. "On the Path" ) appeared on EMI , which included twelve songs and two instrumental compositions. Sul sentiero is a continuation of the musical narrative begun by the album Dalla pace del mare lontano and is enriched with new elements that create subtle harmonic balance in it - orchestral jazz, author song, Latin American fiery rhythms and blues spirit.

In November 2006, the third album, Il pane, il vino e la visione , ( Rus. "Bread, Wine and Spectacle" ) was released. The lyrics of the album were again written together with Roberto Kunstler , but Pasquale Panella took part in the creation of Le cose diverse ( Rus. "Different things" ). For the first time, the album was produced by Sergio himself, who in addition to the piano on Il pane, il vino e la visione uses Hammond B4V and Fender Rhodes .

2009 was the year of the release of Carovane , the most ethnically diverse and positively dynamic canvas among the artist’s discography. Sergio Cammariere in his musical development from an original Italian artist turned into "World Citizen": his songs on the album contain a lot of colorful African-American, Indian and Spanish "stuff".
