Career

Leandro Greco is a pupil of the Roma club. In 2003, he began to be called up to the main team, but he did not debut at the club. In August 2003 he was leased to the Astrea Series D club, for which he spent 17 matches and scored 1 goal. After that, Greco returned to Roma and made his debut on May 8, 2005 in Serie A in a match with Parma , in which Jalorossi won 2-1. However, a serious illness, cardiac arrhythmia , prevented Greco from playing football for 5 months and was forced to decline the invitation to the Italian youth team , however, prevented his further career with Roma. In 2006, Greco was leased to Verona Club B , in which he became a core player. Greco returned to Roma, but then, in January 2009, was again leased to the Pisa club, for which he spent 9 matches.

In the summer of 2009, Greco returned to Roma again. In January 2010, Leandro was leased to Piacenza . There, the footballer became the main player, having spent 22 games in the club. Once again returning to the Dzhalorossi camp, Greco spent the first match, replacing Lazio in the Roman derby, in which his team won 2-0; after the game, he said: “It was the most beautiful week of my career. I will never forget her. I will celebrate the victory in the derby as a real Roman. Roma is growing as a team. I suppose we fully deserved this victory over Lazio ” [2] .
