Geography
The length of the river is 219 km, the catchment area is 4400 km² [2] . Formed by the confluence of the Ayat and Bolshoi Sap rivers, originating on the eastern slope of the Middle Urals .
The food is mostly snow. The average annual flow rate is 11.9 m³ / s. It freezes in late October - November, opens in early April - May. Rezh's runoff is regulated by the Ayatsky lake and a reservoir near the city of Rezh .

Rocks
One of the main attractions of the River Rezh are cliff fighters. In total, in the river valley, there are more than sixty rocks. A map of Rezhevsky rocks, their legends and legends are presented in the book “Rezhevsky Treasures”.
In the vicinity of the Shaitan-kamen rock near the village of Oktyabrsky at the end of the 18th century, a unique deposit of Shaitan overflow was discovered - a beautiful variety of agate .
Ural Gem Strip
In the upper reaches, the River Rezh crosses the famous Gemstone strip of the Urals . The richest deposits of tourmaline (including polychrome) and Shaitan agate- overflow were discovered on the shores.
Monuments
The hut of the XVII century in the famous Nizhny Sinyachikhinsky Museum-Reserve is of Rezhev origin. The ancient huts of the XVII — XVIII centuries from the villages of Ostanino and Lipovsky are given as examples of the peasant dwellings of this time in textbooks on the wooden architecture of the Urals.
