The Great Listvyan ( Ukrainian: The Great Listvyan ) is a village located in the Gorodnyansky district of the Chernihiv region ( Ukraine ) on the banks of the Bryukov River [1] ( Kryukova [2] ). Located 18 km southwest of the regional center of Gorodny . The population is 738 people. (for 2006 ). Council address: 15160, Chernihiv region, Gorodnyansky district, the village of Veliky Listvy, 83 Pershotravnevaya, tel. 3-33-43. The nearest railway station is Gorodnya (line Gomel - Bakhmach ), 22 km. The village was founded in 1440 .

History
Near the village, on the banks of the Krinovka River, there is a hill fort surrounded by a perimeter around a rampart (3 m high). The cultural layer is practically absent. An examination in 1967 revealed several inexpressive fragments of pottery vessels.
