Content
Story
Alice and Martin bought a house in the countryside, where they moved to live with their children. At a reception with local aristocrats, they get acquainted with Claude - the daughter of the owners, who had just returned from America. Claude quickly approaches Alice, helping her look after the children. She feels that Alice is lost and unhappy deep inside, despite her apparent well-being. Communication with the cheerful Claude awakens life in Alice, she again begins to draw, she feels free and happy. Claude admits Alice that her concern for her is caused by love. But Alice is also in love with a girl, she has never been so happy. Martin's older brother, Anthony, comes to visit his family. In revenge for Alice's impregnability, he tells everyone about her connection with Claude. A scandal breaks out in the village. Finding out the relationship, Martin and Alice realize that they love each other and children, despite the monotony of their lives. A vivid feeling for Claude is not able to overshadow ten years of marriage, and Alice breaks up with her beloved.
