Ust-Ilimsk ( MPK-17 ) is a small anti-submarine ship of the project 1124M . (“Albatross” cipher, NATO code name - Grisha III class corvette ).

Construction History

The ship was laid at the Khabarovsk shipbuilding plant them. CM. Kirov January 22, 1990 , launched on August 28, 1991 , entered the Pacific Fleet on February 11, 1992 [1] .

Service history

February 11, 1992, the IPC-17 is included in the composition of KTOF February 12, 1992 on the ship raised the national flag of the Russian Federation and the naval flag of the Navy of the USSR. The IPC-17 is credited to 11 DNPLC 47 BKOVR with basing on the harbor Paris Island Russian [2] .

On July 26, 1992, the flag of the Navy of the USSR was solemnly lowered and the flag of St. Andrew's was raised [2] .

In 1996, the base of the 47th BRKOVR was the base of the Maliy Ulysses in the city of Vladivostok.

In 1998, the next organizational and staffing activities of the Pacific Fleet were held, as a result of which the 47th BRKOVR and the 165th BRKKA were disbanded and the 165th BrNK with the same home base was formed on their basis. The ship is included in the 11th DNKOVR 165th BrNK [3] .

In 2003, RUSTEEL took over the ship MPK-17 [4] .

On July 22, 2007, the administration of the city of Ust-Ilimsk and the command of military unit 99396 signed contract No. 83 of July 22, 2008 "On the sponsorship ties between the Administration of the city of Ust-Ilimsk and the command of the small anti-submarine ship MPK-17" [3] .

 
IPC Korean and Ust-Ilimsk

On July 29, 2007, MPC Ust-Ilimsk took part in a theatrical show on the Day of the Navy in the city of Vladivostok with a training launch of bombs from RBU-6000 .

On February 12, 2009, representatives of RUSTEEL presented the MPK-17 crew with a consecrated icon of St. Nicholas the patron saint and protector of navigators in honor of the 17th anniversary of the flag raising on a ship [4] .

January 16, 2010 Order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy No. 10 in order to strengthen the military-patriotic education of the personnel of the Navy and strengthen the patronage ties between the inhabitants of the city of Ust-Ilimsk with the military sailors of the IPC-17 was given the name "Ust-Ilimsk" .

On April 10, 2010, a solemn ceremony of renaming the ship into “Ust-Ilimsk” took place in Maly Ulys Bay [5] .

In August-September 2013 - large-scale exercises of military associations of Primorye and Kamchatka. In the maneuvers, 20 airplanes and helicopters, up to 3 thousand servicemen and civilian specialists, 30 ships and boats, 10 support ships for the KTOF warship detachment took part, including the Admiral Vinogradov BOD, Marshal Shaposhnikov BOD , Nikolai Vilkov BDK , Oslobya BDK , Bystrynyi EM , Bystrov, CER-208 Kuriles, MPC Sovetskaya Gavan , MPK Ust-Ilimsk , MPK Primorsky Komsomolets , KIL-927, KIL-498, GS Irtysh. In addition to the forces of the Pacific Fleet, representatives of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation took part in the exercises.

From the beginning of 2015 to March 2016, MPC Ust-Ilimsk was repaired at the Dalzavod ship repair center.

As of January 2016, the Ust-Ilimsk MPK is part of the 11th division of the ships of the water area protection of the 165th brigade of surface ships of the Red Banner Pacific Fleet based at Vladivostok .

March 20, 2019, the illuminated icon of the Kazan Mother of God and the Lord Almighty, presented to the ship's command by a member of the Public Chamber of the city of Ust-Ilimsk Kovelko S. L, was delivered to the IPC Ust-Ilimsk to the 27th anniversary of raising the flag on the ship.
