Service history
The ship was laid down at the Leninsky Forge factory in Kiev on June 12, 1986, launched on May 6, 1988, and joined the fleet on April 21, 1989 under the name MPK-207. Since 1989, it was based in Poti (as part of the 181st division of anti-submarine ships of the 184th brigade of ships for the protection of the water area). After the collapse of the USSR, on the night of December 31, 1991 to January 1, 1992, it moved to Novorossiysk . Since 2000 it bears the name "Povorino" [1] .
