Matveeva, Lyudmila Grigoryevna

The first publications of her stories appeared in the 1960s in the journal Pioneer . The story “Three Girls, One Me” by readers of the magazine was recognized as “the most fun story of the year” ^[2] . In 1971, she saw the light of her debut tale, The Old Drummer, about the friendship and wonderful adventures of an elderly musician and sixth grader. From then until now, her collections of short stories and novels devoted to the life and adventures of schoolchildren regularly go out and reprint.
