In 1975-1986 the club was called "TV Jan Wolfsburg" ( German TV Jahn Wolfsburg ).
In 1986-1994 - "EHC Wolfsburg" ( German: EHC Wolfsburg ).
In 1994-1996 - "EC Wolfsburg" ( German EC Wolfsburg ).
In 1996-2015, the team was called "Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg" ( Eng. Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg ). In the summer of 2015, it became known as the Grizzlies Wolfsburg.
The highest achievement of the club is winning the German Cup in 2009.
Since 2000, the club has been holding home games on Ice Arena Wolfsburg ( German: EisArena Wolfsburg ) ( Wolfsburg , Lower Saxony ).
